On April 10 at approximately 2 p.m., Engine 2, Rescue 2, Engine 7, Tower 1, Battalion Chief 22 and two Marion County Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a vehicle fire which was spreading to a field on SE 31st St.
Although the vehicle fire advanced rapidly, fire crews extinguished the flames before they could extend to the home in the area.
No injuries were reported, according to Florida Police Scanner.
