The Villages Pops Chorus Folk Quartet concert to benefit Friends of SoZo Kids will be held at Laurel Manor Regional Recreation Complex on Thursday, Aug. 26. The Villages Pops Chorus will be performing music featuring the great folk songs of the 50’s and 60’s and other songs of that era, including songs by Peter Paul and Mary, The Kingston Trio and The Brothers Four. All of the proceeds will be donated to Friends of Sozo Kids.
The 90 minute concert will begin at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.. Tickets are only $10, and attendees must be a Villages resident or have a Villages Guest Pass. All seats are general admission. Tickets will be sold on Saturday Aug. 21 from 1-3 p.m. at Bridgeport Recreation Center. Tickets will also be available at the door.
