The Puc Puggy Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will be hosting an afternoon tea party at Eisenhower Regional Recreation Complex on Feb. 20 from 1-4 p.m.
Leigh Ann Brown will present “Portrait of a Bride,” featuring 18-20 bridal gowns worn by women from the Civil War period through the 1950s. A biography of each bride will demonstrate the changing times and status of women during those 100 years.
Tickets are $40 per person which will include coffee, tea and desserts. There will also be a cash bar, silent auction and a raffle.
Proceeds from this event will go to the many community projects sponsored by the Puc Puggy Chapter throughout this year.
