The Tavares History Museum in downtown Tavares will be having “Tavares Trains,” a history presentation by Rick Cronin, on Mar. 4. There will be three presentation times: 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
This author and historian will talk about how railroads not only put Tavares on the map but made settlement of all of Lake County possible. Visitors are also encouraged to tour the museum and learn about the earliest days of Lake County.
