Calling all residents curious about the inner workings of the county government!
Registration is now open for the Sumter County Citizens Academy. This interactive program aims to teach residents all about the various departments and agencies within the community.
The next academy begins March, 4, 2025.
Attendees can expect five half-day sessions with exclusive tours of facilities like public works and animal services, as well as presentations from key officials. In addition, there will be an information session all about mosquitos and how to survive them.
