Fross & Fross Wealth Management, a full-service financial planning and investment management firm with a facility in Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, is in the process of opening a Brownwood Paddock Square satellite office. The new facility will be located at 2662 West Torch Lake Drive. Fross & Fross hopes to launch it this month, and both sites will offer the same services. Fross & Fross Wealth Management, founded by Thomas Fross and his family, has been serving The Villages for more than 20 years.
The company began in Ocala but relocated to The Villages after witnessing “the phenomenal growth that was happening,” according to Thomas.
“We saw the need to have a local presence because most people, when they move here, they are looking for a local attorney and a local dentist and a local doctor and a local financial adviser. Since most people were transplants, it worked out perfect to have an office here,” he said.
The company used to be located at Southern Trace Plaza, but in 2012, it relocated to Lake Sumter Landing.
Fross and his team think that establishing a second facility in The Villages would allow them to reach out to more individuals.
“The Brownwood office is being built because of the incredible growth south to be more centrally located for our clients that have moved there and new clients that we work with that are from that area,” he said.
Fross & Fross is well-known in the Lake Sumter Landing region, but the firm wants to expand into other areas of the neighborhood, according to Fross.
“We want to have a location that is going to be more convenient to our clients that live in that area because so many clients drive to Lake Sumter Landing,” said Patrick Fross, Thomas’ brother and one of the major financial advisers at the new Brownwood facility. “We want to make it easier for them.”
Fross & Fross Wealth Management strives to maintain a personal relationship with each of its customers.
“What sets us apart from other firms is our desire to advocate (for) our client as they go through some of life’s challenges and just let them live out the retirement dream they always wanted to,” said Renee Springstead, another financial adviser who will work at the new Brownwood location.
“We have the best clients in the world,” Patrick said.
They’re also looking forward to the new location’s development and construction, according to Thomas.
