Deer Island Country Club will be hosting a charity golf tournament to raise money to assist Firefighter/Paramedic Jennifer Roland and her family on Dec. 17. Roland is recovering from transverse myelitis, a rare and devastating medical condition that affects the spinal cord and causes paralysis from the belly button down.
Teams will consist of four people, and there will be a max of 32 teams. Registration will be $400 per team which will include the round of golf, cart and a smoked BBQ lunch graciously provided by Mr. Richard Pettis of Central Florida Hydro Dipping. First place team will be awarded some prizes.

At the request of the Deer Island Country Club, no outside alcohol is permitted. Beverage carts will be in service as well as a full bar.
