On Mar. 28, Rocky’s Doo Wop Party will be held at the Savannah Regional Recreation Complex at 4 and 7 p.m. Rocky and The Rollers will be performing with The Brooklyn Bridge and The Vogues.
The Brooklyn Bridge became one of the most sought-after vocal groups in the Rock n’ Roll era. In 1969, the group, with the late Johnny Maestro, charted with a Jimmy Webb written masterpiece, “The Worst That Could Happen,” re-establishing Maestro’s chart success from the earlier Crests years.
The Vogues bring all their Billboard charted songs directly from their hometown of Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania directly to this rock and roll party. “You’re the One,” “Five O’Clock World,” “My Special Angel” and “Turn Around, Look at Me” bring the mid-60’s to life in this spectacular show.
Tickets start at $25 per person and can be purchased at thevillagesentertainment.com.
