The sod and sprigging of Richmond Pitch & Putt is currently underway and just in time for the spring and summer growing season. According to Chet Bronson, if weather conditions are ideal, the Richmond Pitch & Putt will be open by the end of this year.
The Richmond Pitch & Putt is located just northeast of the Water Lily Golf Car Bridge off of Meggison Rd., across from the future Lake Okahumpka Recreation Center. This short game features golf course holes that range in square footage from 70 to 100 yards. There will be lots of water and rock features on the course along with three walking bridges.
