Wishing to start the new year on the right foot?
The Running of the Squares 5K at Lake Sumter Landing returns Saturday, Jan. 11.
The race begins at 8 a.m. and all participants will receive a finishers medal at the end. Top finishers will also receive special awards.
Race registration is $25.
The Running of the Squares is a series of 5K races centered around The Villages squares in Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood. All ages are welcome to participate solo or with a team in this annual race series.
