The following recreation facilities in the Villages will be impacted on New Years Day:
Recreation centers & offices & fit clubs – closed
Outdoor facilities (open play all day), equipment sheds, swimming pools (sports pools – combo swim only) & dog parks – open
Sumter County offices that will be closed:
Closed Offices:
• All Sumter County Board of County Commissioners offices
• Clerk of Court
• Sheriff’s Office
• Supervisor of Elections
• Tax Collector
• Animal Services
• Sumter County Libraries
These services will resume normal hours on Thursday, Jan. 2.
