On Oct. 3 and Oct. 4, The LDT Living Drama Theatre in Eustis will be holding auditions from 6:30-9 p.m. for their upcoming play Miracle on 34th Street. For people who wish to audition, the theatre asks to prepare a one minute monologue and be ready for a cold read.
Rehearsals will start Oct. 5, and the show dates are Dec. 10-12 and Dec. 17-19. According to their Facebook post, “Many roles can be cast as either male or female. Character names may be adjusted based upon casting.” And even though there is caroling involved, singing ability is not necessarily required. Some of the roles available include Kris Kringle, Judge Harper, Dr. Pierce and Bloomingdale.
The LDT Living Drama Theatre is located at 431 Plaza Dr. in Eustis. Auditions are open to anyone.
