District Property Management is completing construction of a 3,671 linear foot walking trail that will provide views of Black Lake. The scenic path begins at Lake Miona Regional Recreation Complex and heads north along the west side of Buena Vista Blvd. and ends just before Old Mill Run. The path is 6 feet wide with a Flexi-Pave surface and also includes a 110 linear foot elevated boardwalk to allow proper drainage during storm events. The project is on schedule to be completed by Sept. 23 with a grand opening event to follow.
Once completed, residents and guests are encouraged to enjoy this nature trail while hiking, walking and birding through the wetland environment surrounding the Black Lake Preserve and Lake Miona.
