On Feb. 26, the Inaugural Friends of the Leesburg Trails 5K. presented by Florida Cancer Specialists, will be held at 8 a.m.. This is a chip timed 5K that takes runners through the sights of the Leesburg Trail System & Downtown Leesburg!
All participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal with their registration. All proceeds will go to enhance Leesburg’s local trails.
The start and finish of this race is on the Magnolia Trail. Race day registration will open at 7 a.m. There will be a pre-race packet pick-up on Feb. 25 held at Water Gypsy Coffee from 4-6 p.m. Family members or friends are allowed to pick up participants’ packets. If runners cannot pick up their packets, they can pick them up when they register on Feb. 26.
Timing will be provided by Southern Timing, LLC with LIVE results, results kiosks and individual results page with a 20 second clip of runners crossing the Start and Finish line. Results will be streaming live on race day to www.southerntimingfl.com/results.
