Historian and period re-enactor Robert Jacob will visit the Lady Lake Library with his wife, Anne Jacob, on Thursday, July 20 for a youth and adult program.
The pair will present a pirate-themed sing-along for youth at 10:30 a.m. All participants are invited to dress like a pirate.
At 2 p.m., Jacob will present his acclaimed program “Pirates of the Florida Coast,” which is based on his book with the same name.
In-between the presentations, Robert and Anne Jacob will be in the library lobby for a book signing and meet and greet.
Jacob is a two-time gold medal-winning author and an acclaimed pirate expert. He has also been a guest on the Discovery Channel’s “Beyond Oak Island.”
The event is free to the public. No registration is required.
