The University of Florida IFAS Extension will be holding classes for Florida gardening in February. These classes are designed for beginner gardeners and gardeners new to Florida.
The first class begins Feb. 7 which focuses on Florida landscaping. On Feb. 14, the class will focus on tips when taking care of the lawn. On Feb. 21, gardeners will learn what kind of annuals, perennials and shrubs are easy to grow, care for and maintain in Florida. The final class on Feb. 28 will focus on pests to be mindful of when gardening. All of these classes are from 2-3 p.m.
