The Board of Supervisors of Village Community Development District 16 will convene for its first organizational meeting Thursday, March 13, at 4:30 p.m. at the Everglades Recreation Center.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the appointment of staff including manager, attorney, and others as seemed appropriate. There will also be discussion surrounding certain policies for the purpose of conducting district business, services to be provided by the district, and to hold the landowner election.
The meeting is open to the public.
The recently approved Community Development District 16 will encompass close to 1,300 acres south of the Florida turnpike (east of Bexley Trail to the Lake County line), and is expected to include 6,637 residential lots.
