Ready to find the pawfect Valentine this holiday? Sumter County Animal Services is hosting its “Will you be my Paw-entine” adoption event until Feb. 14.
There are currently close to 100 dogs looking for a furever home at the shelter. The event is perfect for those seeking to adopt and those on the fence, since the option of fostering is also available.
Some of the current dogs available include Sierra, a yellow lab, and Butch a senior dog who loves nothing more than sitting in front of the television to watch cowboy westerns. The shelter has many more dogs with personality types of all kinds ready for their next home.
All of the dogs at the shelter have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered and are currently on heart worm and flea medicine. There is no cost to adopt.
If interested in adopting or fostering a dog, please contact Sumter County Animal Services at 352-689-4400 or by visiting at 819 CR 529, Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33538.
