Sumter County is making alterations to the median at Buena Vista Blvd and SR 44. On the evening of April 15, two streetlights at that median will be temporarily shut off from power. Other nearby streetlights will remain turned on, providing adequate illumination for traffic safety.
Additionally, SECO Energy is undertaking a large project outside of The Villages from April 26-28 and will only be available to respond to emergencies during that time.
