As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of July 13, according to the CDC website.
In Lake County, there have been about 283 new cases over the last week. About 16 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and about 4 deaths were reported.
In Marion County, there have been 264 new cases. About 22 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
In Sumter County, there have been about 244 cases. About 16 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
