As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of June 15, according to the CDC website.
In Lake County, there have been about 253 new cases over the last week. About 13 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
In Marion County, there have been about 181 new cases. About 12 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and about three deaths were reported.
In Sumter County, there have been about 211 cases. About 13 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and no deaths were reported.
