Two people died in a car crash in Lake County on Dec. 24, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). Troopers say the victims were a 49-year-old father and 29-year-old son from Eustis.
They were heading west on SR-46, very close to where it connects with SR-429, when they were struck by another vehicle that was traveling east. The driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash is in the hospital, according to troopers.
The crash is still under investigation by FHP.
