District Property Management and their professional engineer consultants have determined that extremely high groundwater throughout Atwood Bungalows in the Village of Collier, combined with an ineffective and potentially clogged underdrain system, has led to premature failure of the asphalt roadway. They have performed a final inspection of the site and are recommending the installation of new and improved underdrain systems.
District Property Management is waiting to receive the official proposal with total costs. The proposal will be presented to the District 9 boards for approval.
Once approved, the project will go out to bid. The winning bidder will also require approval by the boards. After that process is completed, construction will be scheduled.
