The Project Wide Advisory Committee will review a $5.2 million bid to renovate five executive golf courses early next week.
The bid from Landirr Inc, a golf course construction and maintenance company, will focus on five courses in The Villages. The courses include Bogart & Bacall, Bonita Pass, Heron, and Truman.
Courses will receive full renovations including new greens, tees, fairways with new turf varieties, new bunker sand and underdrain systems, as well as other enhancements.
The bid amount per course is as follows:
Bogart & Bacall – $2.227 million
Bonita Pass – $974,917
Heron – $1.081 million
Truman – $1.008 million
This will not be Landirr Inc’s first project in the community, as they have done extensive work on courses over the last few years.
The PWAC meeting will take place at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10 at Seabreeze Recreation Center.
