Elmo is an adult mixed breed (possibly a hound mix), medium sized dog.
The shelter notes Elmo is a bundle of happiness who loves nothing more than running around, fetching toys, and playing with his other doggy pals. Elmo would do best in an active household or a household with other pets.
All adoption fees are currently waived at Sumter County Animal Control. Animals adopted are vaccinated for rabies and other common diseases, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea prevention while at the shelter.
The shelter is open Thursday through Monday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at 819 CR 529, Lake Panasoffkee, FL 33585. Appointments only for Tuesday and Wednesday.
