Recreation & Parks Holiday Information
All Recreation Offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in observance of Independence Day. Recreation centers, outdoor facilities and swimming pools will remain open for your enjoyment.
Guest ID Cards, Executive Trail Pass and Activity Registration services will be available at La Hacienda, Lake Miona, Eisenhower, Rohan and Everglades At Your Service Centers from 8:30 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Regular hours of operation will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Sanitation Collection Holiday Schedules
Village Community Development Districts 1 – 11: If you live in Village Community Development Districts 1 – 11 located in Sumter County, Marion County or Fruitland Park portions of The Villages, there will be normal residential sanitation collection on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
Village Community Development District 12 and the Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney: If you live in Village Community Development District 12 and the Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney, there will be no residential sanitation collection on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. The next collection date will be on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Village Community Development District 13 (excluding the Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney) and District 14: If you live in Village Community Development District 13 (excluding the Villages of DeLuna and Hammock at Fenney) and District 14, there will be normal residential sanitation collection on Monday, July 3, 2023.
If you live in the Town of Lady Lake portion of The Villages, there will be no residential sanitation collection on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. The next collection date will be on Friday, July 7, 2023.
If you live in the Lake County portion of The Villages (not including Districts 11 or 14), there will be no sanitation collection on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. All collection days for the week will be moved to the next day.
