The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is currently working to fix an issue impacting some mobile phones when dialing 911.
The issue appears to impact some AT&T mobile phones, causing some 911 calls to get rerouted to a different agency or experience a delay, according to a recent social media post by the department. This issue is being worked on.
