A celebration of life for a motorcyclist who recently died after an accident has been scheduled for next month.
Tyler Lewis, 20, of Lady Lake, was airlifted on Oct. 31 to Ocala Regional Medical Center after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on County Road 466A at Buena Vista Boulevard. Lewis died two days later at the hospital where an honor walk was held due his status as an organ donor.
His sister, Aubrey Lewis, announced that his heart, liver and kidney were already going to recipients in need.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 3. All men in attendance are asked to wear Lewis’ favorite color — royal blue. Women are asked to wear white. In addition, it is encouraged for everyone to bring pictures of Lewis.
