The Villages Pops Chorus will be holding their summer concert “That’s When the Music Takes Me” on July 25. The concert will be at North Lake Presbyterian Church from 3 and 6 p.m.
Some songs will include “Summer in the City,” “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” “Night and Day” and “We’ve Only Just Begun.” The Chorus, backed by a 10-piece band, will be joined by special musical guest harmonica virtuoso Phil Caltabellota.
Tickets are $15 per person. Tickets can be purchased at thevillagespops.thundertix.com, thevillagespopschorus.com and through The Villages Pops Chorus Facebook page. People can also purchase tickets at Pimlico Recreation Center on July 9, 16 and 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Part of the proceeds will be donated to SoZo Kids and other local charities.
