On Mar. 12, the John Bartram Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be holding a luncheon. The doors will open at 10 a.m., but the event will start at 11 a.m.
Michelle Rigby Assad, author of “Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA,” will be speaking at the luncheon and signing books. There will also be baskets up for auction and a ticket drawing.

The John Bartram Chapter also meets on the third Friday of every month at Eisenhower Regional Recreation Complex. The doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the meeting begins at 10 a.m. The next meeting will be held on Feb. 18. Professor James Press, a frequent speaker at The Enrichment Academy, will be giving a presentation entitled “The OSS and America’s Spies behind Enemy Line during WWII.”
