During the last weekend of June, deputies in Marion County responded to the 2300 block of NE 23rd Pl. in reference to vehicle burglaries. The victim advised that two unlocked vehicles were entered and several items were stolen. Further investigation revealed that an additional six unlocked vehicles were also burglarized. This investigation is ongoing.
According to Florida Police Scanner, deputies also responded to the 13000 block of SE 120th St. in reference to a vehicle burglary. Their investigation revealed that a total of 19 unlocked vehicles were entered. Multiple purses, wallets and a handgun were stolen from the vehicles. This investigation is also ongoing.
