The Villages Public Safety Department has announced their CPR schedule for 2022. Three types of classes are offered.
BLS Healthcare Provider offers a two-year certification card and teaches CPR and AED use for adults, children and infants. This class costs $30 per person, and the available dates are Jan. 20, 2022; April 21, 2022; Sept. 15, 2022 and Nov. 17, 2022.
Residents learn basic compression CPR and AED use for adults, children and infants in the Family and Friends CPR/AED class. This class doesn’t offer a certification card, and it’s recommended students take a refresher every two years. This class costs $25 per person, and the available dates for this class are Jan. 18, 2022; Feb. 15, 2022; Mar. 15, 2022; April 19, 2022; May 17, 2022; June 14, 2022; Aug. 16; 2022; Sept. 20, 2022; Oct. 18, 2022 and Nov. 15, 2022.
ECSI offers a two-year certification card and is recommended for healthcare providers. The class teaches CPR/AED and basic First Aid for adults, children and infants. This class costs $35 per person, and the available dates for this class are Feb. 17, 2022; May 19, 2022; Aug. 18, 2022 and Oct. 20, 2022.
All classes are held at Fire Station #44 in the Emergency Operations Center located at 3030 S. Morse Boulevard in The Villages.Registration and payment (cash or check) is required prior to class date. Anyone can register for classes by calling The Villages Public Safety Department at 352-205-8280 no more than 60 days before class.-
